About Me:

Hello, World!

My name is Neil Dave. I'm a challenge seeking nerd looking to design innovative solutions to modern engineering problems. I'm also an electrical engineering student at Northeastern University, an avid hockey fan, and an enthusiastic hiker who has a long way to go before thinking about talking about wanting to climb Kilimanjaro, but we all have to start somewhere. Computer Vision, Analog Design and Robotics  have been my three biggest focuses throughout my undergraduate career however I'm just simply passionate about working on interesting projects that best improve the human experience regardless of industry and often find myself straying from my on-paper focus.

In my down time when I'm not deconstructing  gadgets around me (I recently spent a couple hours taking apart a laptop mechanical keyboard, the laptop was also cool but trust me this keyboard was super nifty), or playing around with the Unity or Unreal Engines, or attempting to improve my hiking skills, I've found myself messing around with the milling machine and 3d printer at a local workshop.  If you ever manage to catch me at one of my Saturday Volunteer shifts at the Boston Museum of Science, feel free to say hello and if you would like to get in touch you can send me an e-mail at dave.ne@husky.neu.edu or call me at (978)-809-7616.

If you'd like to find out more about me a copy of my resume can be found here and samples of my code can be found on my GitHub
